Unfortunately, there is a stigma that still remains about medication-assisted treatment. For some, this is due to a misunderstanding about exactly how it is administered and prescribed, but bottom line, it works. Each of our seven programs dispenses medication, but we also offer a chemical dependency drug-free option for patients who are eligible.

Taken as prescribed, our medications are effective treatments for those addicted to heroin or other opiates. Dosage is prescribed by each clinic physician based on initial evaluation and, taken daily combined with counseling, patients can engage in productive activities that ensure successful rehabilitation.

*All of our programs are certified as a Part 822.5 Program by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) and licensed as Article 28 clinics by the NYS Office of Health Systems Management. In addition, all programs have received the highest level of national accreditation by Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Additional funding for these services is provided by the AIDS Institute of the New York State Department of Health, which has recognized the quality of the care we provide since 1999.
